How to build your resilience muscle with Dr. Greg Hammer, Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine

You can build your resilience muscle in a few key ways, says our guest Dr. Greg Hammer, a retired professor at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Hammer gave a lecture recently at Harvard University on personal resilience and mental health. He outlines what personal resilience is and how we can practice it so we don’t suffer from the impact of chronic stress that over time can lead to things like cardiovascular disease, depression, obesity and fatigue. He walks us through a formula he created called GAIN, which will give us the tools we need to bounce back from life’s difficulties.
