Changing Your Mindset Changes Everything

The Power of Joy
Mindset is Everything
When is my auto correct going to realize it’s never ducking? It can figure out all kinds of difficult last names or street names that I use frequently. But, this one? It frankly doesn’t give a duck.
This has me thinking about all of the ways we resist changing patterns that could make our lives better, easier, more joyful. What do we tell ourselves over and over again to argue our point of what we lack instead of where we have abundance? What don’t we tell ourselves that allows us to stay stuck because of longing, pain or surrender?
Last week, I was so upset about a difficult situation. I marinated in thoughts like, Why does this always happen to me? I am leading the loser parade. This is impossible. It sucks. I can’t. Stuff like that.
And then I remembered mindset. We’ve been working all summer on our new online Mindset Management programs and I thought, Here it is. I was just collapsing into a mindset free-fall, instead of trying to take charge. Mindset is truly the key to everything-what we chose to think, or not think, or get stuck on.
I realized the difficult situation won’t change, but the way I look at it can! I changed my mindset and WOW what a difference. Mindset is everything, my friends. I can tell you it’s really ducking life changing.
The Power of Why
Mindset Management
My favorite quote from Dr. Wayne Dyer is, "When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change." This quote reminds me that I am in control of my mindset, and I have the power to choose how I look at things.
Oftentimes we go through life letting outside circumstances dictate our mindset. If things are not going our way (or say there's a pandemic that turns our world upside down), we mistakenly believe that we have no other choice than to be disappointed, frustrated, or angry. Not that there's anything wrong with these feelings, as we are meant to have a range of emotions, but the truth is that we can take control of our mindset and make a conscious choice to see things differently.
Mindset management is a skill that can be learned over time with consistent practice. Again, this is not to say that mastering your mindset will disable all "negative" emotions, as that's not realistic nor is it healthy. But it will put you back in the driver's seat of your life. We want to empower you to take control of your mindset, and that's why we created a new online program called Reboot You.
Our Reboot You program will teach you the skills necessary to manage your mindset, and provide you with the tools you need to reframe thoughts that are not serving you. Click here to learn more or sign up for this self-paced program.
